Applications for the 2027–28 school year are now open.

Emet offers private tours for parents and students on school mornings. Visits include a campus tour, the opportunity to observe classes, and a meeting with members of Emet’s school leadership. Use the buttons below to request a private tour, receive admissions updates and announcements, or apply for the 2027–28 school year.

    August 26, 2026: Applications open for grades 5-12. Click here to stay up to date on all application-related announcements.
    September 2026–January 2027: Private tours on a school morning, by appointment only, for parents and students.
    September-December 2026: Attend an “Evening with Emet” parent session to learn about Emet Classical Academy with our school leadership and faculty. Dates forthcoming.
    November 2026: UJA applications for tuition assistance open
    December 1, 2026: Deadline to apply for Financial Aid
    January 8, 2027: Applications close
  • Admissions Decisions
    February 10, 2027: Notification for grades 5–8
    February 19, 2027: Notification for grades 9–11
Application Steps
  • Complete the Application
    The application requires student information, a short parent response, academic records, and two teacher recommendations. Applicants are also required to submit standardized test scores taken January 2026 or later. Accepted tests include the ISEE or SSAT, or standardized tests taken in the student's current school such as the MAP or ERB CTP-V tests.
  • Schedule Your Student Interview
    Once the application has been received the admissions team will contact you to schedule a parent meeting and student interview at Emet. The interview will include a brief on-site writing evaluation. No advance preparation is necessary.
  • Finalize Enrollment
    Finalize your enrollment: Admitted students will be notified in February. A deposit is required to secure enrollment.
UJA Day School Tuition Fund
Emet has partnered with UJA to provide up to $40,000 in scholarships for families transferring from public or secular private school to Emet.
  • Up to $18,000 per child entering grades 5-8
  • Up to $20,000 per child entering grades 9-12
The qualifications:
  • Public school families transferring to Emet in grades 5-12
  • Total family income of less than $350,000

To take advantage of this opportunity, the first step is to submit an application to Emet. Once that has been received, the admissions team will reach out to provide additional information and guidance on submitting the UJA Tuition Fund application.
